ABOUT THE ARTIST

Drawing since my early years in the 1970s, The new wave of fresh Horror Movies were on the ascend. This, in my opinion came after the release of George A. Romero's classic film of Undead Terror, "Night of the Living Dead". It changed the face of Modern Horror from that point forward. Being exposed to such shocking films as The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, The Amityville Horror and the likes, my fascination was at a fever pitch with all things of the macabre. Add my love for the old EC Comics, such as Tales from the Crypt, Vault of Horror, Shock Suspensestories as well as DC's House of Mystery and Marvel's Vault of Evil Comics, I delved into deep wells of dark art and vowed to create some of the most terrifying, strange and beautiful pieces within my capacity. And over 40 years later, I continue to create.

My Tattooing Journey began in the summer of 1999. That's when the interest and desire began. I found my way into local prominent Tattoo shops in Tampa, Sonny's Tattoos, K&B Tattooing, Ink Slinger's Domain, Ink Riders, ETC. In an effort to soak up as much knowledge as I could as a budding artist, I sat and watched as the artists as they worked their magic on their clients. That's when I knew that I wanted to be an artist. years later and a lot of experimentation and practice, I began tattooing on my own. Not too long afterwards I worked my way into several shops in the Tampa, New Port Richey, Largo area. Gothica, Urban Skinworx, Atomic Tattoos, Sonny's Tattoos, and even owned and operated my own studio called, "Blue Zombie Tattoo Studio". Since that time I've continued to work, gain new clientele, experiment with new techniques, as well as new and new equipment, and Tattooing still remains an intense passion creatively.
